Hyperion F3A pilot Ola Fremming leading the Norwegian Champs

Our Norwegian F3A pilot Ola Fremming is currently ahead of the pack in the Norwegian National Championship held Aug. 6-9 just 45 minutes from Oslo.

The event is hosted by the Vingtor RC Club on the premies of a renowned shool called Hvam Efterskole.

Ola has been using the Hyperion G3 lipos throughout the 2009 season: “I must say that this year’s batteries are working incredibly well” says Ola. “The difference in performance to the past generation of cells is so large that I had to modify my throttle-curve to remain in control of the power.”

Ola is flying the french Oxalys and is very active in competions. That means lots of flying: “One of the really great things about the Hyperion G3 lipos is the speed charging. People are used to it taking incredibly long to get the last bit of capacity refuelled. With the G3 cells this time is very short, almost as short as A123 cells. The performance and low internal resistance – probably the one and same thing – makes the Hyperion G3 different from other packs.”

Just a few weeks ago, Ola captured the Nordic Championships held in Grenaa, Denmark: “I was very happy to reclaim the title of Nordic F3A Champion in Grenaa. I have won both Norwegian Cups this year and we are now entering the second half of the season. The Norwegian Championship this week and the Worlds in the last part of August. The wrap-up is as usual on Tynset (Chivas Cup) in September.”

Hyperion wishes Ola and all fellow contenders a great Norwegian Championship!
