In this video, we provide a quick look at the new EOS 1420i NET3 charger – 14S, 20A @ 550W provided you have a 24-28V power supply. Of course, the 1420 can also run on 12V but the efficiency is lower and so is the power.

Hello, can I parallel charge with the 1420i Charger since there are 2 balance ports? Thanks!

You can’t charge two separate packs on the 1420i NET3 at the same time, only when they are serialized like in a split-pack. The two balance connectors are just a way of connecting more than 7 cells to the balancer. (http://www.hyperion-eu.com/downloads/eos/manuals/1420inet_connection_guide.pdf shows how to connect split packs)

Hello I’ve bought One of this Charger, Ive a packet of 13 Li Ion cells and I could charge this battery without problems and also balancing the cells with a special cable I built.
I have another Packet of lifepo4 of unknown brand but the cells are 16 so I’m going to buy another charge to Use in sync mode with the 1420i could you tell me what cheap chargers with less cells can work with the 1420i?

@Giancarlo:
The only charger that can be used in network mode with the Hyperion EOS 1420i NET3 is an identical one, so to use networking, you would need two EOS 1420i NET3 chargers, which will allow you to charge up to 28S LiPo or LiFePO4 packs, though those packs has to be split in two sections, where each section is no more than 14S

@heini:
I know, it can be a little confusing. I have uploaded a PDF to http://www.hyperion-eu.com/public/manuals/1420inet_connection_guide.pdf that shows how a split pack is connected via serializing of the mail wires. The important part is that the balance connector that relates to the cells that are closest to the negative lead is connected to port A and the balance connector related to the cells closest to positive lead is connected to port B.
When using the term “closest” above, I refer to electric potential, and not physical location on the pack, which can be arbitrary.
All Hyperion split packs are labeled with A and B on the balance connectors and that matches the markings on the charger.

I had a hard time finding an adequately powerful power source for the Hyperion 720i that I bought. I decided to look to the sun for my power. Luckily I have a few solar panels lying around that I could finally put to some good use.
In the link to this picture you will find a Hyperion 720i hooked up to two 95 watt solar panels in parallel (in series the voltage is too high).

The other Way: hyperion create a 14s Equalizer/balancer like the Schulze lipoprofibal 14s (Sold out). The only Equalizer i can Buy Today on the market can handle only 12s (Robbe Top Equalizer 12s) with only 70 ma per Cell. Please answere hyperion. Thanks, Michael
