Patty Wagstaff made Walter Extra's 260 version legenday. The aircraft is designed to have mainwings, tailgroup and thrust on the same line through the aircraft - the intent is to give a neutral plane with very axial performance.

The Hyperion Extra 260 captures the characteristica of the 260 as only few other models. The lines really says 'Extra 260'!

The Extra 260 represent cutting edge in the evolution of Hyperion electic ARF's. Our motorbox design, which you will find in most of our other models too, allows for great weight savings. By extending the motorbox forward so much that the motor can be bolted straight onto the firewall without need for stand-offs or a motorcage saves a lot of weight.

The savings are considerable and a 4S flying weight under 2kg is realistic. For a 40-class plane with this much wing that is VERY light.
